Florida Process Server Licenses are issued within select Florida Counties and are for Service of Process with specific jurisdictions. Licenses are issued in accordance with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and are governed by Florida State Law in general. Interestingly, Federal District Court Subpoenas can be served by anyone over the age of eighteen and do not require and kind of specialized Florida licensing. We don't believe the Federal Laws and civil rules of procedure for having a Subpoena served by a non-licensed Process Server are appropriate. We believe the Federal Rules should be changed and the requirements for private Process Servers should to be revised. WE ONLY USE LICENSED PROFESSIONALS TO SERVE FEDERAL SUBPOENAS. YOUR DOCUMENTS WILL BE SERVED BY A PRIVATE PROCESS SERVER WHO IS LICENSED, RESPONSIBLE, UNDERSTANDS THE IMPORTANCE OF TIMING SERVICE AND WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH AN AFFIDAVIT OF SERVICE WITHIN TWENTY-FOUR HOURS OF PERFECTING SERVICE. Remember, there is usually a witness fee for Federal District Court Subpoenas. Be sure to verify the witness fee amount and any mileage expenses that may apply.
